Bookings – Things to Note
Our Backpackers is in the centre of the city with new refurbishment of all beds, the kitchen/dining/lounge areas and painting throughout.
Moreover the bathrooms have been renovated recently. We have 10 bathrooms (separate female/male) in total, located across the three floors with several showers and toilets each.
Cleanliness, comfort and security for our guests is our highest priority.
Fresh linen are provided to all guests with optional towel hire at $2 each (free towels on request for private room bookings).
Things to Note:
Payment: The Backpackers Imperial Hotel requires full payment at the time of the booking. The payment will be taken from the credit card which is submitted with the booking for each bed/dorm/room booked to secure your booking.
Cancellation: In case of cancellation the amount for the first night of the reservation is non-refundable in any case. For further nights of the reservation a 48 h cancellation policy applies.
Check-In: At your check-in you will be asked to provide the credit card of the booking/a credit card in the guests’ name and government issued photo identification (e.g. passport, drivers’ license). Check-in is available after 1:00 PM. Reception closes at 6:00 PM. If you require a late check-in after 6:00 PM please call 24 hours before your arrival. Check-ins must be before 11:59 PM and payment in full will be required prior to arriving; A $40 late call-out fee applies after 12 AM.
Key/Security Deposit: We ask for a $50 key deposit on check-in. It is at our discretion to ask for a security deposit of up to $200 on check-in.
Group Bookings: Any bookings for five or more guests traveling together is considered as a group booking. Please contact us directly by phone or email prior to the booking (otherwise your booking may not be accepted). A security deposit of $100 per person is mandatory.
Minimum Age: Please note the guests’ minimum age for staying at the Backpackers Imperial Hotel is 18 years.
